Media4[me] is an informal network. However, only registered organisations are allowed to use the Media4[me] logo for their activities and can join Media4[me] activities and projects. An organisation can join the network, if they can show/proof that it is executing intercultural media education activities linked to social cohesion, intercultural dialogue and human rights issues. New members can apply on the Media4[me] website, during the national round tables and on the annual European Media4[me] markets.
Commitments of members:
- Media4[me] members cooperate on national and on international level based on an annual plan of action.
- The partners agreed to work in 2008 – 2009 on two labelled Media4[me] actions within the framework of the theme ‘intercultural dialogue’.
- The members will label at least one of their own national activities as a Media4[me] Intercultural Dialogue activity, meaning that they will make extra efforts to promote this activity and to improve their intercultural methods and tools.
- All Media4[ME] members will join a European intercultural activity / campaign.
- The Media4[ME] network will be a platform for specific projects to further develop and implement intercultural media education competencies and skills and for the development of new intercultural strategies and products.
- All results will be shared with all other members of the Media4[ME] network.
